  • A 3.67 million dollar settlement for a woman whose life insurance claim was wrongly denied following her husband’s death. The defendant, Principal Life Insurance Company alleged that she was involved in her husband’s death. The plaintiff was able to show with certainty that she had nothing to do with his death and the case was ultimately settled.
  • A $225,000.000 (policy limit) settlement for a plaintiff who was injured when an uninsured drunk driver ran a red light and hit his vehicle.  He sustained $42,000.000 in medical bills for a broken femur and filed an uninsured motor vehicle action against The Hartford Insurance Company.
  • A 100,000.00 settlement for a plaintiff who was injured in a car accident at an intersection. The plaintiff received the policy-limit settlement and subsequently filed an underinsured motorist claim against Allstate Insurance Company and obtained an additional $115,000.oo.
  • A $319,000.000 verdict against a defendant and Allstate Insurance Company following an accident that broke a man’s femur and left him with $70,000.00 in medical expenses.  A jury later returned the verdict against the defendant and the man’s insurance company, who carried his underinsured motorist coverage.
  • A 2 million dollar (policy limit) settlement for a plaintiff who was injured when his motorcycle struck a concrete truck driven by an employee of Nate Apple Concrete. The plaintiff suffered head and leg injuries and sustained $500,000.00 worth of medical expenses.
  • A 1.45 million dollar wrongful death settlement for the family of an individual who was struck by a work vehicle in rural Missouri.

The plaintiff  was forced to sit in an emergency room for four hours before receiving treatment, and during that time, the staff failed to diagnose a tear in the popliteal artery.
