A Vidor High School football player has been struck and killed in a Kansas City train accident that occurred on Sunday morning.
According to officials, the 18-year-old football player was killed at 7 a.m. at the Kansas City Southern tracks near East Old Highway 90.
Officials believe that he may have been walking home when he was struck, but police are continuing to investigate the accident for further details. The young man was pronounced dead on the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
